At Paul Theological Seminary, our core beliefs are rooted in foundational Christian doctrines, guiding our academic and spiritual journey. We affirm:
The Holy Scriptures: We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are uniquely inspired by God, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme, infallible authority in all matters of faith and doctrine.
The One God: We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, actively involved in creation, providence, and redemption.
The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe in the full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His ongoing ministry as the only savior and ultimate judge of humanity.
The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit, through His work of sanctification and indwelling, empowers believers to live holy lives, to witness and work for Christ, and to serve responsibly in the contemporary world.
The Dignity of Man: We believe in the dignity of man, created in God's image, his subsequent fall, universal sinfulness, and his need for justification and regeneration appropriated through personal repentance and faith in Christ.
The Spiritual Unity of Believers: We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ, forming the Church, the body of Christ, visibly expressed in worship, fellowship, and service in society.
The Return of Jesus Christ: We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ in power and glory to consummate His kingdom and the resurrection of all people, leading either to eternal death or eternal life.
